Loughton

Glamourous Loughton is the apex of Essex’s “Golden Triangle” and has featured prominently in The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE). Besides being a place to spot TV stars and footballers’ wives, the busy High Road offers a great mix of independent and chain shops and restaurants. Just round the corner, past the large supermarket, is a Central Line station providing commuters and shoppers with a direct route to London and Westfield Stratford City. People living in and around Loughton are spoilt by having London’s largest open green space, Epping Forest (around 2,400 hectares), on their doorstep. The woodland makes for lovely walks, cycle rides, and horse-riding.

Bus routes 20, 397, 167, 677 provide access to Walthamstow, Chingford, Woodford, Buckhurst Hill, Debden, Barkingside and Ilford. The M11, M25 and A406 (North Circular Road) are nearby.
